CalTra

The Short Version

CalTra does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data.

Everything you log — meals, calories, notes, targets — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing ever leaves your iPhone.

What We Collect

CalTra collects no data from you. Specifically:

If you choose to sign in with Apple, Apple handles authentication entirely. CalTra receives only a unique identifier and, optionally, your name — neither is transmitted to any server operated by CalTra.

If you create an email account inside the app, your email and a hashed password are stored locally on your device only, never uploaded anywhere.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on-device using Apple's SwiftData framework, protected by iOS device encryption. Deleting the app removes all data permanently. Using the Delete Account option inside the app also immediately erases all stored data with no recovery.

CalTra has no backend, no database, and no cloud infrastructure of any kind.

Third-Party Services

CalTra integrates with Sign in with Apple, provided by Apple Inc. This is the only third-party service used. Apple's privacy policy governs that interaction and can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are used.

Children's Privacy

CalTra does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app collects no data whatsoever.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. The effective date below will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Effective date: April 3, 2026
